Up until maybe 7th grade, I was totally obsessed with baseball. I collected cards and stuff, looked at the stats, determined who was good, who I liked, and so on. Most of the cards I had were contemporary-ish, mid-to-late 80’s cards with all the usual players who are now getting into the Hall of Fame–Ripken, [...]
These cartoons do two things: they place a pretty specific date on my childhood, and they prove beyond any doubt that I know absolutely nothing about Anime.
