Five Satellites is, on one hand, about a small-time punk rock band on tour. On the other, it’s about a man, Brian, married too young, doubting the decisions he’s made and scared of the choices ahead of him. Should he leave the tour van behind and get serious about life, marriage? Should he put his nose to the grindstone and work towards a likely unstable career in music? Can he possibly handle both? Five Satellites is a story about the difficulty of balancing fidelity and love with rock and roll, and it ultimately questions where our commitments should lie–in the people around us, or in the things we do?
